Dab pens are the fastest way to get from pocket to hit, and we carry every style, coil type, and price point worth buying.
Dab and wax pens are compact, battery-powered devices designed to vaporize concentrates like wax, shatter, budder, and live resin. Instead of heating a banger with a torch, you load a small amount of concentrate into the pen's atomizer, press a button, and inhale. The whole process takes seconds. No rig, no torch, no setup. That's the appeal, and it's a real one.
They're not a compromise either. Modern coil technology has gotten good enough that a quality wax pen can deliver flavor and potency that rivals a traditional dab rig setup, especially when you're on the move. If you want to go deeper on how concentrate vaporizers work and how they compare to other methods, our dabbing blog breaks it all down.
These are the classic style. A metal coil, usually quartz or ceramic wrapped, heats up fast and vaporizes your concentrate almost instantly. Quartz coils tend to produce more vapor and a stronger hit. Ceramic coils heat more evenly and are often preferred for flavor. Most entry-level and mid-range pens in our wax pen collection use one of these two coil types.
Instead of a coil, these pens use a ceramic or quartz chamber that heats the concentrate from all sides. Slower to heat than coil pens but significantly better for flavor. If you care about tasting your terps, this is the style to shop.
These sit somewhere between a wax pen and a portable dab rig. Bigger battery, often a water attachment or bubbler cap option, and more precise temperature control. They're bulkier but the experience is noticeably closer to a desktop setup. If you've been thinking about an upgrade, browse our full vape pen lineup to compare styles side by side.
Not every wax pen is built the same, and the difference between a frustrating experience and a great one usually comes down to a few key factors.
Our vape blog has more detailed buying guidance if you want to go deeper before committing.
Basically nothing. The terms are used interchangeably across the industry. Both refer to a portable, battery-powered device designed to vaporize wax and other concentrates. Some people use "dab pen" to mean a slightly more powerful or sophisticated device, but there's no universal standard. Shop by specs, not by the name on the label.
Most wax pens work well with wax, budder, shatter, and crumble. Runny concentrates like live resin oil or distillate can be trickier and may require a pen with a sealed ceramic chamber to avoid leaking. If you mostly use oil-based concentrates, a CBD vape pen or 510-thread cartridge setup might actually suit you better.
Regular cleaning is what separates a pen that lasts two years from one that tastes burnt after two months. Heat the coil briefly to loosen any residue, then use a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol to wipe out the chamber. Let it dry completely before loading again. Most manufacturers recommend cleaning after every few sessions. Replacement coils are cheap. Letting buildup ruin your hits is not a great trade.
Depends entirely on what you need. A dab rig with a quality banger and a good torch still delivers the benchmark experience for flavor and potency. But it's also a commitment: the setup, the torch, the risk of breaking glass. A dab pen trades some of that ceiling for pure convenience. For home sessions where quality is the priority, a rig wins. For everything else, a good wax pen is genuinely excellent. Check out our dabbing blog for a full comparison, or browse our dab rig collection if you're curious what a rig setup looks like on the other end of the spectrum.

Carved Wood Hand Pipe w/ Stone Bowl
This is a small glass water pipe that works well. I like that it is made in the USA and is still inexpensive.
You can only fill the round part at the bottom about half way or else you might inhale water. Other than that no issues at all.
Love the item I received
