About Zig-Zag
Founded in 1855 by Jacques and Maurice Braunstein, the company built a production plant in France to manufacture cigarette paper. In 1894 they developed the rolling paper process called "interleaving." The name Zig-Zag originated from the alternating or “zigzag” process of packaging.
