Percolator bongs should filter hard and hit smooth. Ours do, and we carry every perc style worth putting water in.
A standard water pipe filters smoke once. A percolator bong filters it two, three, sometimes four times, breaking smoke into smaller bubbles, cooling it down, and stripping out harshness before it reaches your lungs. The result is a hit that's noticeably smoother, cooler, and cleaner than anything a basic tube can deliver. If you've ever winced after a rip and thought there has to be a better way, there is. Percolation is it.
The physics are simple. More surface area means more smoke-to-water contact. More contact means more filtration. More filtration means a smoother, cooler draw. That's why percolator bongs have become the standard for anyone who smokes regularly and actually cares about the experience. Want to go deeper on glass and water pipe science? Our bong blog breaks it all down.
Not all percs are built the same, and each one delivers a slightly different smoking experience. Here's what you'll find in our collection:
Tree percs use multiple arms, each with slits or holes at the bottom, that fan out like branches inside the chamber. They produce fine, consistent bubbles and deliver strong filtration. They're a classic for a reason.
Honeycomb percs sit flat inside the tube and punch smoke through dozens of tiny holes at once. The result is an incredibly smooth, airy draw with minimal drag. If you want effortless pulls, honeycomb is hard to beat.
Matrix percs are cylindrical chambers covered in horizontal and vertical slits. They fire on all sides at once, creating a dense wall of bubbles and serious diffusion. Visually satisfying and functionally excellent.
Showerhead percs flare out at the base like, you guessed it, a showerhead. Water and smoke are pushed through a ring of downward-facing slits for even diffusion with a smooth, mellow draw.
Inline percs run horizontally at the base of the bong, pulling smoke through a series of slits submerged in water before it enters the main chamber. They add filtration without stacking extra height, making them common in low-profile builds.
These spin water in a vortex as smoke passes through, adding both filtration and a visual show. They're great for anyone who appreciates function and looks in equal measure.
Picking the right perc bong comes down to a few key decisions. Work through these before you shop:
Need help figuring out what's right for your setup? Our guide to the top bong brands is a good starting point.
Smooth hits aren't reserved for expensive glass. Our collection runs from solid entry-level pieces that punch above their price to premium multi-chamber builds with complex percolation. If you're building your first real setup, our roundup of best bongs under $100 is worth a read before you decide.
More percolation means more nooks for resin to collect. A dirty perc pulls harder and tastes worse, fast. Regular cleaning keeps your filtration working the way it should. Our guide on keeping your bong clean covers everything from quick rinses to deep cleans, including how to get into tight perc chambers without breaking anything.
A percolator bong is a water pipe that includes one or more percolator chambers inside the tube. The percolator forces smoke through water multiple times, breaking it into fine bubbles and filtering out harshness. The more contact smoke has with water, the cooler and smoother the hit.
Honeycomb and matrix percolators consistently rank among the smoothest because they push smoke through a high number of small holes at once, maximizing water contact with minimal drag. Tree percs also deliver excellent smoothness. The best choice depends on how much resistance you want in your draw.
Yes. Many percolator bongs double as dab rigs when paired with the right nail or banger. Just check your joint size and make sure you're using a bong with enough diffusion to cool concentrates without over-filtering the flavor. Smaller chambers and inline or honeycomb percs tend to work best for dabs.
A standard bong filters smoke through water once via the downstem. A percolator bong adds at least one additional filtration stage inside the main chamber. That extra filtration cools smoke more aggressively and removes more particulates, producing a noticeably smoother hit. Holds a charge really well
Love ash catchers, almost a must have for any bong. Looks and functions great, much easier to clean than some of my others
Carved Wood Hand Pipe w/ Stone Bowl
This is a small glass water pipe that works well. I like that it is made in the USA and is still inexpensive.
You can only fill the round part at the bottom about half way or else you might inhale water. Other than that no issues at all.
Love the item I received
I'm loving this device! I grew up with a dead head father. He passed away 12yrs ago. So I think this is awesome! Thank you!!
