    About RAW

Founded by Josh Kesselman, RAW is a brand that produces rolling papers, filters, rolling machines, hemp wicks, other smoking accessories, and merchandise. Merchandise includes popular items such as smell-proof bags, rolling trays, hoodies, and much more.

In 1993, Kesselman opened a smoke shop in Florida and imported European rolling papers to sell along with smoking paraphernalia. In 1997, Kesselman partnered with a rolling paper factory in Spain, at which point he developed two new brands: Juicy Jay's flavored papers and Elements’ rice papers. In 2004, Kesselman invested in natural, unprocessed, and unbleached hemp fiber which led to RAW offering the first "vegan" papers.
